At Donabate Portrane Medical Centre we have a highly skilled staff, each with a wide range of special interests. Our Doctors are supported by our wonderful Nurses and Administrative staff.

Dr Anthony Sharkey
MB BCh NUI MICGP
Dr Anthony Sharkey became GP principal in Donabate Portrane Medical Centre in August 2024. He was a radiographer before returning to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland to study medicine. He graduated with honours in 2017 and went on to complete specialist GP training on the Northeastern GP training scheme.
He enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a special interest in cardiovascular disease and men's health.

He is married to Yvonne and they currently have two young children.
